The Corporation of Norfolk County is a single tier municipality of 63,000 located on the North Shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario. Norfolk County offers abundant recreational and lifestyle opportunities. Norfolk County’s most popular tourist attractions are the beaches, ports, towns and villages along Lake Erie, known as Ontario’s South Coast. These towns include Port Dover, Turkey Point, Long Point, Simcoe, Delhi, Waterford, and Port Rowan. Fishing is another key attraction for tourists, as well as birding, hiking, camping, and cycling.

Position / Responsibilities

Norfolk County is seeking a highly engaging, results-oriented, dynamic visionary General Manager, Corporate Services to lead an amazing team of community leaders who are committed to the County and its residents.

The County offers a unique ‘work from anywhere’ policy for staff.

Position Requirements

If you are a results-oriented, dynamic visionary leader who possess a University Degree in a related discipline (Business or Public Administration) or equivalent, have 10 years of related/senior management experience in a municipal setting, preferably within a single-tier municipality and are a real ‘people person’, this role may be the right fit for you.

You will have strong communication skills and proven customer service principles and the ability to work with Council and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
