Position / Responsibilities / Requirements

Port Hope is a unique, inclusive Municipality, distinguished by a dedication to diversity, culture and economic development.

Position Profile

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Urban Planning or Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning Technology or equivalent and five (5) to seven (7) or more years of progressive planning experience (with some flexibility on the years of experience). Municipal experience is an asset for this role.
The ideal candidate must hold the designation of Registered Provincial Planner (RPP) and/or be a member of the Ontario Professional Planner Institute (OPPI) or Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) or equivalent.
