Waterloo Region is one of Canada’s fastest growing communities. We are proud to announce our sixth library is not only in the works but will also be the first net-zero public building in the Region.

Position / Responsibilities / Requirements

With our growth comes a unique career opportunity for a progressive, innovative Director of Systems and Performance Outcomes who is looking for both their next professional challenge as well as work/life harmony.

You possess a professional MLIS designation and preferably a Public Library Leadership certificate such as Public Library Leaders (Canadian Urban Libraries Council). With up to 7 years of progressive strategic and technical services leadership and a minimum of 3 years being in a people leadership capacity, you will mentor and grow a team to deliver exceptional innovation and services.

You will also possess excellent relationship management & communication skills and have 4 years of data management (preferably with Tableau/Power BI). Additionally, you are a great communicator and dynamic, engaging team leader.
