Position / Responsibilities / Requirements | The County of Dufferin is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking leader to head its Corporate Services team. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Corporate Services will bring strategic vision, an inclusive leadership approach, and a commitment to corporate wide collaboration to the senior leadership team. The Director of Corporate Services is a key contributor to the development of organizational culture, corporate decision-making and provides ideas and advice that support the County’s priorities. The Director will oversee the Corporate Services department which includes Corporate Finance/Treasury, Procurement, and Information Technology (I.T.). The Director will act on their own authority or on the authority delegated by the CAO and is responsible for implementing all major decisions affecting the Corporate Services department. |

Position Profile |
The ideal candidate for the Director of Corporate Services has a university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology or a related field of study and at least 6 six years of progressive leadership experience. A background in financial and accounting management or information technology management is required. Experience with identifying and implementing innovative technology solutions and working with corporate-wide software implementation and related initiatives is preferred. Knowledge in developing and monitoring departmental budgets is required. The ideal candidate also possesses exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, supervise, and mentor a team of managers and staff while working towards a common corporate goal with previous experience with Equity work and implementing initiatives to build an inclusive and welcoming workplace.
